What treatments can I book online for?
Online appointments are best suited for general dentistry treatments . We have put together a list of treatments we offer when booking online.
- Check-up, X-ray and fillings,
- Dental emergencies
- Tooth broken / bleeding
- Tooth ache / pain / severe oral pain
- Gum abscess / infections
- Chipped, fractured, broken or knocked-out teeth
- Broken or loose brace components such as brackets, wires and bands
- Soft tissue injury to the cheeks, gums, tongue and lips
For more complex treatments (crowns, bridges, dental implants etc.) it is best to call in for an appointment so that your dentist can allocate the appropriate amount of time for your case. However, more complex treatments will usually require a consultation visit before any dental work is carried out.
At Choice Dental, we offer booking spots for emergency dental work, however, it can be beneficial to call us for an appointment so that your appointment is the correct length for the treatment you need. This is especially important if you are experiencing pain or discomfort.
*Please be aware not all available appointments are visible online. You can call our reception on (07) 38093320 for full appointment availability.
Appointment Cancellation Policy:
When you schedule an appointment time with us, we hold that time exclusively for you. Should it become necessary to alter this appointment, we respectfully ask for 48 hours’ notice. Please be aware if little or no notice is provided to reschedule your appointment a cancellation fee of $50 may be imposed.
Late notifications do not provide us with sufficient time to offer your appointment to someone else in discomfort.
New Patient Check-up:
During your initial examination our dentist will gently conduct a thorough examination of your teeth, gums, bite, as well as an oral cancer check. The Dentists priority is to assess your oral health and explain to you their findings ensuring you have all your questions answered and can make an informed decision toward the treatment you feel is best for you. Depending on the findings / diagnosis more time may be spent discussing your individual needs in more detail. If this is the case the dentist will arrange another appointment to complete the clean.
Please Note: When scheduling an examination online we are only setting aside 40min for your initial examination. If you feel your case may be complex and will need longer please call us to discuss your needs so we may arrange a suitable appointment length.
*A check up and clean is strongly recommended every 6 months*
